He never blocks your work. He never steals your clicks. He simply lives there, growing up beside you.

🐕 Watch him grow up

One real day equals one dog month.

Your puppy starts tiny and gradually grows into an adult over real-world weeks. As he gets older, he unlocks new toys, items, behaviors, and interactions.

There is no death mechanic and no pressure to reset your progress—just a little dog growing up beside you while you work, study, play, or relax.

🦴 A virtual pet with real needs

• Manage his hunger, thirst, hygiene, energy, and happiness as they change in real time.
• He poops. You clean it. You earn coins. That’s the deal.
• Feed him, give him water, bathe him, and make sure he gets enough rest.
• Watch him nap with belly breathing, dream twitches, and cartoon Zzzs.
• Ignore his needs and he will let you know through expressive emotion bubbles.

🎾 Play directly on your desktop

• Throw a tennis ball: it bounces off the edges of your screen while your dog chases it down.
• Toss a flying disc: he retrieves it, brings it back, and sits patiently for another throw.
• Give him a bone: he runs away, digs a hole, and buries it in a corner of your desktop.
• Pick him up: carry him around, spin him with the scroll wheel, and place him wherever you like.
• Play two desktop minigames: Desktop Pong, where your dog becomes the paddle, and Tug of War.

🏡 Turn your desktop into his home

• Choose from 10 coat colors and recognizable breeds, including Husky, German Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Border Collie.
• Dress him with hats, caps, glasses, ties, bows, and other mix-and-match accessories.
• Decorate the desktop with a dog bed, potty mat, fire hydrant, plants, fences, and more.
• Light a working bonfire, complete with animated flames and crackling sound.
• Upgrade his belongings with an automatic feeder, a self-cleaning potty, and a cozier bed.
• Earn coins, visit the shop, manage your inventory, and unlock achievements.

Windows may display a SmartScreen warning the first time you launch Pawper. This can happen because the application is not currently code-signed. Code-signing certificates are expensive, especially for small independent developers.

Pawper is transparent about its behavior and is designed to run only as your desktop companion.

To launch the game, select: “More info” → “Run anyway”

⚠️ Mac Gatekeeper notice

Download, unzip, drag Pawper.app into Applications.

First launch: the app isn't notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper will flag it as an "unidentified developer."

Right-click Pawper.app → Open → Open. First time only.

Quit from the menu bar icon (top of the screen).
